Frequently Asked Questions
In most cases, aggression can be significantly reduced and effectively managed through proper training and behavior modification. We set realistic expectations during your consultation. While we can't guarantee a dog will never react again, we can give you the tools, structure, and skills to manage behavior safely and prevent escalation.
If your dog is showing aggressive behavior, it's important to take it seriously—but it doesn't mean your dog is a bad dog. Most aggression is rooted in fear, anxiety, frustration, or a lack of clear communication. With the right professional guidance, the vast majority of dogs can improve dramatically.
Yes. We regularly work with dogs that have a bite history. During the evaluation, we assess the severity, context, and patterns of the behavior to build an appropriate plan. Safety is always our first priority, and we implement management protocols from day one while working on long-term behavioral change.
Behavior modification is a process, not an overnight fix. Most dogs show meaningful improvement within the first few weeks, but long-term success requires ongoing management and consistency from the owner. Our programs are designed to give you both—measurable progress during training and the tools for lifelong management.
Leash reactivity is one of the most common issues we address. Depending on the severity, it may be handled within our Obedience program or require our Behavior program. During your free consultation, we'll assess the situation and recommend the right fit. If reactivity is your primary concern, we'll get you into the right program.
